Aug. 7, 2012 - Insel Air has stopped flying to Puerto Rico from Princes Juliana International Airport (PJIA). According to director Edward Heerenveen, the reason is that the Curaçao airline cannot compete with JetBlue on that route.

New York-- July 12, 2012-- JetBlue Airways today announced its intent to serve Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, the largest destination in the British Overseas Territory's archipelago. Beginning Nov. 15, 2012, the airline will serve Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) with three times weekly service on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from New York's John F.
